Day 1:
Saint Clair Shores, Michigan…my home for the nest week and a half; dog, cat and house sitting for my brother and sister-in-law. The house is situated on the shore of Lake Saint Clair, where the wind is cold, and the ice crashes against the peer, but the Canadian geese are in. My sibling and wife are at this moment in Hawaii on their way to Tahiti for the first long vacation they have had in a long time. I am enjoying the good food in the house (everything is organic), the good books, the exercise equipment and the quiet.
Pop is home with his bad knee, but still he has shamed me with his ability of getting the tests done for his surgery, painting of the basement stairway, painting and installing of the shelves over the stairway, and the sweeping of the house. What will he have to do tomorrow? I wonder why we can get so much done when our coworker is gone. I miss Pop and the dogs. (the show off)
